The Halliday Way – August Update

What a month! August has been unbelievable, infact one of our best months EVER! We instructed 19 new listings from our Bridge of Allan Office and 13 new instructions from our Linlithgow Office. This combined with 29 offers accepted between both offices has lead to a very busy August. Our most impressive stat to date was collated with these sales in mind, with both offices combined we averaged an outstanding £71,454 over the asking price. Yes that’s £71,454!!

The market is great at the moment, this rush is being caused by 4 instrumental factors; Post lockdown buyers surge, Stamp duty holiday, Seasonal summertime rush, and the Brexit negotiations coming to an end. Our advice is to take full advantage of it while it lasts.

“I can not recommend Halliday Homes highly enough!! Austin and his team were professional from start to finish. I decided to sell my property in early March 2020 and within two weeks we had a sale agreed. Grant was instrumental in finalising the details of the sale and keeping me up to date throughout the whole process. The team at Halliday Homes made the entire sale run smoothly and I was delighted with the end result. I would definitely recommend Halliday Homes to anyone who was thinking of selling or buying.”

“As soon as I walked into the Linlithgow office, I knew that I wanted Halliday Homes to sell my property. From the onset, both Lynne and Jamie were friendly, honest, approachable and understanding. Selling my first property was pretty daunting but Lynne and Jamie clearly outlined the process and offered support throughout. Unfortunately my property went on the market just before lockdown but that didn’t effect the quality of service that I received from Halliday Homes. I received emails throughout lockdown, top tips to maximise the chances of selling my home and Lynne also kept in touch to keep me updated every step of the way. After lockdown I received an offer on my property. I couldn’t have asked for better customer service. Thank you to Lynne and Jamie for all their hard work, first-class service and for answering all of my silly questions! As I have said in my review, Lynne & Jamie are an absolute credit to your team.”
